I have a car listed on craigslist for Dallas, TX and received a call from a Jessica (sounded african american) at 9: 15 pm cst. I Called back the next day and got voicemail on the first ring, and voicemail said hi this is "Lequilla", please leave a message. I don't think this is a legitimate person looking to buy my car.

Pre-recorded message. When I told them I couldn't hear them they just kept talking. When I said hello 3 times, they still kept talking. Obviously a pre-recorded message. I am on every NO CALL and NO MAIL list I know of. Obviously it does no good to be on either one because of all the junk mail and telemarketer calls received.

keeps calling and aas soon as phone is answered it hangs up. this is a buisness line and its becoming annoying happening 2-5 times a day..

This person said he was Harry Fox, although another message said Tom Fox. When prompted further, said he was from Rogers Law Firm, Merriman, IL. Told me that if I didn't speak to him all he could do is wish me luck as all of this trouble unfolded. These people have called me intermittently in the last year, claiming to be from the Law and Investigations Department in Washington D.C., and another time claiming to be from another law firm in Florida. Each time, they have a new number, but is the same standard spiel and the same broken accent and men calling. I have had my local police department call them to stop the harassing calls at work, seems to be the only thing that works. Also put alerts on my credit reports. I don't owe anything to any payday loan companies and they will not provide me with proof of these debts. My credit report also does not support any of these allegations. This is a complete scam, please beware.

I had gotten one call about a year ago, told the nasty man that I would need a copy of the contract that I signed before I would do anything and never heard back. Mon, Jan 7, I got a call saying that this debt was "very serious" and wondering why they would say I owed them money if I didn't. I called my congressman's office and the FTC. The calls kept coming until I told one young lady that I had complained to the FTC and my congressman and the company was a scam and she should quit her job before she got into trouble. I have not heard from them since. We all need to register complaints -- there are probably lots of people who cave and give them money.

Claim someone placed and order on Saturday. NO ONE Did. THey ask me if what they had was my last 4 on my credit card. I told them no. My husband did not order anything either.

I receive numerous calls throughout the day but they hang up as soon as the answering machine picks up. I called back and no identity but says to be removed to leave your phone number and allow 48 hrs to be removed...We'll see.

This person has been harrassing me at my job and at home. He is claiming that I need to send $500 dollars for a payment loan. He claims that it was deposited into my bank account and when I checked my bank statement and credit report it is not listed. He will not give me the name of the company. He has been told to stop contacting my work and he keeps calling my work. This is causing me lots of trouble with my manager and my job is on the line. I asked for him to send information to me via mail to explain what this matter is about and he has refused. I am not going to send any money until I receive written proof of this matter.
